Dr. Armando Joya is a renowned bariatric surgeon based in Tijuana, Mexico. He has gained a reputation for his exceptional surgical skills, compassionate patient care, and dedication to advancing the field of bariatric surgery.

Dr. Joya obtained his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and completed his residency training in general surgery at the Hospital Civil de Guadalajara. He then went on to complete a fellowship in bariatric surgery at the University of California, San Diego, where he trained under some of the most experienced bariatric surgeons in the United States.
