Dr. Marco Sariana received his medical degree from the UABC Faculty of Medicine in Mexicali, Mexico. His social work assignments in Mexicali and Ensenada followed. At the Hospital General de Zacatecas in Mexico, he completed four years of further General Surgery training. Dr. Sarinana completed Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and Bariatric Surgery training in Tijuana in 2007, as well as a Fellowship in Gastric Banding and Gastric Balloon.
As part of his ongoing preparation, he broadened his study and practice to include Diagnostic Endoscopy and training in various weight reduction treatments. He is Certificated in Gastric Band Placement and Intragastric Ball, Guadalajara, member of the Mexican Association of Endoscopic Surgery and metabolic Surgery and obesity. Dr. Marco Sariana has conducted over 600 endoscopies, 350 colonoscopies, and 1,100 weight loss procedures, including gastric banding, gastric ballooning, gastric sleeve surgery, and gastric bypass surgery.

Dr. Sarinana began training and specialising in aesthetic & Aesthetic Surgeries in 2013, mostly because he anticipated that his weight reduction patient will require aesthetic surgery in the near future. He is regarded as the “Complete Makeover Doctor” since he treats extreme situations for weight loss and beauty enhancement. He is a member of the “Colegio de Profesionistas en Cirugia Estetica” and earned his advanced cosmetic surgery training in Veracruz, Mexico. Dr. Sariana attends and participates in medical conferences all across Mexico, concentrating on weight reduction surgical techniques and aesthetic surgeries.
