Born in Peru, Dr. Rafael Vizcarra attended medical school at Argentina’s National University of La Plata. He completed his first anatomic pathology residency at Durand Hospital in Buenos Aires. After that he emigrated to the United States, he had to pass the USMLE exam. He then continued his career at Saint John’s Episcopal Hospital in New York, where he completed his second internal medicine residency. Passing the “American Board of Internal Medicine” ABIM test was one of the most significant successes of his career, and he is now board certified. He holds a medical licence in the state of Georgia and intends to devote the remainder of his career to thoroughly researching each of the ailments that patients suffer from.

He’s been studying the human body in depth since he first opened his first medical book. After more than 25 years, he still feels the same curiosity and joy every time he discovers something new, as does every scientist.
