Background and History

Smart Skin Med Spa was initiated on January 1, 2007 and incorporated on August 29, 2008. The clinic is over 18 years old.

This growth led to the relocation of the original home on Oxmoor Road to a renovated storefront in downtown Homewood at 1931 29 th Ave S which was completed around the same time in November 2019.

The recent space is a 3,250-square-foot redesigned space, which is added with approximately 550 square feet. The former was a hair salon and was a restaurant and a bar called “The Brass Rail”.

A mother-daughter leadership duo of Ms. Carmen Meherg (President) and Ms. Lacey Edwards (CEO) are the owners. The clinic aims at making patients feel good about their skin besides offering premium, clean and functional surroundings.

Injectables

This clinic offers injectable variants to make you look good, like wrinkle relaxers such as Botox, dermal fillers, lip fillers and other types of injectables to fill up your skin and lips to fill out the lines.

Skin Treatments

The treatments that are provided in this clinic are skin treatments and they are refreshing and rejuvenating, and they are microneedling and RF microneedling, DiamondGlow, The Salt Facial, HydraFacial, AquaFirme Facial, chemical peels and scar-reduction therapies.
