I cannot say enough good things about Dr Hector Perez. More than ten years ago I had a sleeve gastrectomy elsewhere that left me with stubborn complications; Dr Perez converted me to a gastric bypass, and I felt genuine relief the very same day. It had taken an entire week to feel that well after my first surgery. The nurses spoke limited English, but we navigated the language gap easily with translation apps on our phones. The clinic was spotless. After discharge I stayed at the Real Inn, a comfortable, modern hotel where room service brought my prescribed clear-liquid bariatric meals promptly and courteously. In short, the medical care was outstanding, and the few inconveniences were minor compared with the excellent result.
