I visited a few other bariatric surgeons before choosing Miami VIP Surgery, and honestly, the difference was obvious. The office is beautiful and welcoming, and from the first appointment I felt comfortable and never rushed.
Dr. K took the time to answer all of my questions and really listened to me. Dr. Huber was wonderful and helped me work through some emotional eating habits and gave me practical strategies that helped me continue improving at each follow-up.
I had my gastric sleeve with Dr. K, and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. I had no pain, which still amazes me. Where they put the instruments in, I only had four tiny holes that healed so quickly that you can barely tell they were ever there.
I’ve lost 70 pounds and am finally at a healthy weight. What I really appreciated was that Dr. K focused on preserving muscle and strength, not just losing weight. I actually have more muscle now and am stronger than when I started.
At 53 years old, I feel better than I have in my entire life. I honestly feel better than I did in my 20s. I have no loose skin, no complications, and so much more energy. I look and feel amazing.
One thing that really stood out to me was the level of care. I had both Dr. K’s and Dr. Huber’s cell phone numbers, and I saw both of them personally at every follow-up appointment. That kind of care is hard to find anywhere, especially in Miami.
Looking back, choosing Miami VIP Surgery was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’m so grateful I found Dr. K and Dr. Huber. If you’re considering weight loss surgery, I can’t recommend them highly enough.
