Kenton Bruice, M.D.
Clinic Profile
Dr. Bruice’s practice is based on a simple philosophy: a patient is thoroughly evaluated with lab testing and a treatment plan is tailored to that individual, based on no pre-made templates nor any guesswork. In traditional medicine, the loss of hormones is seen as a natural part of aging; in Dr. Bruice’s practice, it is a sign of the underlying hormonal imbalances that are causing fatigue, weight gain, mood swings, and a loss of energy. Self-referral is acceptable. All consultations are personally with Dr. Bruice. Established and qualifying new patients in Colorado and Missouri can use telemedicine.

Background and History
Dr. Bruice grew up in Santa Barbara, California, where his mother was his organic chemistry professor. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). He then went to Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans where he completed his medical training.
Because of his reverence and respect for his mother, he chose a medical specialty in women’s health, serving his internship at the University of Kansas and his OB/GYN residency at the University of Mississippi.
Dr. Bruice started practicing as an OB/GYN in Aspen, Colorado in 1998 and started working with bioidentical hormones. In 2004 he started to teach at the University of Colorado at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology where he continued his hormone research and clinical activities. In 2005, he completely left obstetrics and gynecology behind and focused exclusively on hormone therapy at the Aspen Hormone Institute of Colorado. With the focus of BHRT being the only thing he did, his practice expanded quickly as bioidentical hormones came into the spotlight on a nationwide scale.
For over 20 years, he was a board-certified Obstetrician / Gynecologist (OB/GYN). He has since decided to focus his practice on the treatment of hundreds of male patients rather than retain his OB/GYN board certification and has been treating both men and women for hormone balancing and weight loss ever since.
Dr. Bruice is a member of the North American Menopause Society, Colorado Medical Society and Denver Medical Society. He is an international speaker about the benefits and safety of bioidentical hormones.
