Background and History

Concord MedSpa was founded in 2015 by Emily Sullivan, DMSc, PA-C, a Physician Assistant who spent over 10 years as a hospitalist at Parkland Medical Center and Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital in New Hampshire. While rounding on patients with various medical conditions, Emily observed that a large number of men and women were also seeking aesthetic solutions for their skin and appearance — but had limited access to expert, medically supervised care in the region.

Recognizing this gap, she broadened her scope of expertise to include aesthetic medicine and founded The Concord MedSpa in 2015 with one location in Concord, NH. Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (2007, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences), a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science (University of Minnesota), and a Doctorate of Medical Science with a concentration in Healthcare Administration (University of Lynchburg, VA). She has completed 6 marathons and lives in New Hampshire with her husband, five children, and two dogs.
