Background and History

Li Plastic Surgery was founded by Dr. Ka Ming Li, who completed his medical degree at UCLA at the age of 24 — graduating with honors as a member of an elite seven-year program. He went on to complete a rigorous five-year surgical program at USC, followed by a plastic surgery residency at Penn State University, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society by recommendation of Penn State’s Chief of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Li built a distinguished academic and administrative career before establishing his private practice. He served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center from 1994 to 2004, former Vice Chairman of the Division of Surgery at Arrowhead, Chief of Staff Elect at Arrowhead, and former Director of the Inland Regional Burn Center. He is also co-founder of Arrowhead Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery Associates and has been recognized among “America’s Top Surgeons.”
