Hospital BC is a well-know bariatric center located in Tijuana, Mexico. Hospital BC is the only American owned hospital in Tijuana specializing in bariatric and plastic surgery. Overall, I think they offer a unique bariatric experience. Below are my thoughts about Hospital BC’s surgeries, services, staff, location, and rates based on research from the Hospital BC site and patient reviews.

A bit more detail on the success rates of each surgery would be welcome, though. Even so, this emphasis on personalized, minimally-invasive surgeries seems a net positive for someone that might be squeamish about having surgery in a foreign land.

Hospital BC’s bariatric center is the real deal, great procedures, great service, great staff, great price. A bit more clarity and accessibility about their tools and success rate would make close the deal for me, but I’d personally trust all of the reviews and Dr. Illan’s experience when considering it as an option if I were searching for a way to get my health back on track.
