Background and History

Southwick Integrative Healing was set up on the clinical belief of Martha Southwick, a Family Nurse Practitioner who has dedicated over two decades to serving families in Utah. Martha started the clinic to be an advocate of the “integrative healing” concept. This is because she has integrated the scientific knowledge of medicine with clinical judgment and immense compassion towards every single patient as a whole and not just symptoms of his or her disease.

To meet the demands of the growing community, the practice has developed itself into a well-rounded wellness center by adding specific programs such as medical weight loss program, thyroid disorders, gut healing, and medical aesthetics. Due to continued development, the practice had to move into a bigger space at their Taylorsville office.

Martha Southwick, FNP — Founder & Family Nurse Practitioner

Martha has served in the Utah healthcare sector for over two decades, earning a reputation and respect of her colleagues and peers. Martha is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a graduate of the University of Utah with both a Master of Science and a Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Driven by her passion for lifelong learning, Martha has completed extensive post-graduate training in hormones and has completed a fellowship in Anti-Aging, Metabolic and Functional Medicine. Martha specializes in creating unique treatment strategies for chronic conditions like Hashimoto’s, adrenal fatigue and mental health problems.
