Dr. Bess Oberto has completed his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, and has pursued several continuing medical education courses in lap-band surgery. He has also undergone specialized training in advanced laparoscopy surgery. Over the course of his career, he has successfully conducted more than 1,500 lap-band surgeries while working alongside the renowned Dr. Sanchez and his weight loss surgical team, a majority of whom were US citizens. Dr. Bess Oberto also possesses expertise in “Nissen Plasty Surgery” for treating Acid Reflux or Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).
