I am 1 week post op and would highly recommend Dr. Bucio and all his team. His coordinator Carolina made sure I got to my shuttle and preop testing in TJ coming from the US. However, gastric sleeve surgery in their Mexico location starts at just $5,000 USD. This fee includes the surgeon’s fees as well as anesthesiologist fees, all lab work, and a recovery stay. 

The cost for gastric bypass starts at $6,600 and gastric band surgery is $5,500. If you are a candidate or need to have the duodenal switch surgery, you can expect costs of $7,100. By comparison, these same procedures range in price from $15,000 to $35,000 in the U.S.
