Do It Bariatrics is a bariatric surgery center in NewCity Medical Plaza in Tijuana. A new facility that opened its doors in 2024 is built on the success and skill offered by lead bariatric surgeon Dr. Louisiana Valenzuela. 

It’s located right off the California border and offers an all-inclusive experience for patients. That includes accommodations and local transportation. Patients also get to remain at the treatment center for personalized after-service care. Patients are treated well with VIP services, including private transportation.

Do It Bariatrics is led by Dr. Louisiana Valenzuela, MD, FACS. She is a highly recognized and trusted board-certified bariatric surgeon. The location is consistently recognized for quality service and cutting-edge methods.  Previously Dr. Louisiana Valenzuela worked with Mexico Bariatric Center. 

Several other providers are also available to patients. That includes Jose Vazquez, MD, who is the aftercare physician, Cristina Almazan, MD, who serves as the anesthesiologist, and Carlos Mora, MD, who is a second bariatric surgeon.

Costs range widely, with an all-inclusive gastric sleeve priced at around $4450 and gastric bypass at $5,849. Mini gastric sleeve procedures cost about $5,550, while other procedures have varied costs based on patient need. They aim to be 40% or so below the price of services in the U.S.
